Meet Ryan Manning...
Ryan Manning, the innovating founder of the "Life and Science Academy," is one of the nation's top science educators, community leader, edu-preneur, and youth mentor. With nearly 20 years experience in education, curriculum development & writing, and educational consultation, it is evident that he is passionate about making a lasting impact. Whether he is serving the community, or helping individuals, groups, and organizations flourish, Ryan Manning is intentional with blending his love for the sciences into helping others become their best self!
Outside of the Classroom...
Ryan Manning hails from the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida, but currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently resides with his lovely wife of 19 years Sherri and their three children Ryan II, Chloe, and Aubrey. Ryan and Sherri met during Freshman Orientation while attending Oakwood College (now University) and dated for seven years prior to their marriage in 2005. It was through his wife's achievement of becoming an educator, that he too developed the passion to join the profession. While acquiring his Masters of Science Education, Ryan also earned his Teacher Licensure and Gifted Certification. After 14 years as an 8th Grade Educator, he gained five years experience as an Independent Contractor for an Educational Consultant firm prior to returning to the classroom with more vigor, depth, and an plethora of other skills. Ryan Manning is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and also takes pride in the various leadership roles that he plays within his community!
